Aerotropolis CIDs Welcome New Board Member, Receive Special Awards
Neel Shah, President of Hotel Evolution LLC, elected to Airport West CID Board
[ATLANTA]—The Aerotropolis Atlanta Community Improvement Districts (CIDs) are pleased to welcome a new board member who is an established leader in the hospitality industry.
Neel Shah, president of Hotel Evolution LLC, joined the CIDs as the newest member of the Airport West CID’s Board of Directors. Hotel Evolution is an award-winning third-party hospitality management, operations and development company.
“This is an exciting opportunity to serve the dynamic businesses thriving at the world’s most-traveled passenger airport,” Shah said. “We are building our newest Home2 Suites by Hilton property in the Aerotropolis area, and being part of the CIDs is an important of our continued success. I’m excited to join with other leaders in making a better future.”
Shah is an approved developer for Hilton, Marriott, Starwood and InterContinental Hotels Group franchises. He was recognized as “Developer of the Year” by Hilton Hotels Worldwide for the quality of his multiple hotel developments.
During Shah’s first official meeting as a board member, the Aerotropolis Atlanta CIDs were presented with the following prestigious awards:
2016 Best of Atlanta Award
The CIDs were selected for the 2016 Best of Atlanta Award in the community organizations category by the Atlanta Award Program. The award recognizes the CIDs in their efforts to enhance the positive image of small businesses through service to customers and community, which helps to make the area a better place to live, work and play.
City of Atlanta Board of Ethics – 2016 Transparent Diamond Award
The Diamond Award recognizes the Airport West CID for successfully reaching 100 percent compliance with the city of Atlanta’s financial disclosure requirements.
